1903. In the dim light of a workshop, a master glassmaker completes his life’s work: a majestic stained-glass window, a cathedral of glass and colour. But just as the final lead joint is sealed, the unexpected strikes from the sky. A bolt of lightning strikes the glass, shattering the silence and breathing life into it.
